Dispensable?

Just thinking.
If I was the only one fallen among men, if all men were righteous and I was the only sin-stained creature on Earth, the only one doomed to Hell, and the price of my salvation was the death and the blood of Jesus Christ, would He have loved me enough to come for me? Would He still have died for me? Would I have been dispensable? Would I have been considered a minor casualty in the broader scheme of things?

Years ago this thought would have started me on a terrible downward spiral that would have been very difficult for me to recover from because I had serious doubts about God’s love for me, but today I know better. I know better, neither from my imagination nor from wishful thinking nor assumptions. Now I know the Truth because I saw it in God’s Word. The tiniest letter in God’s Word is more reliable than the ground I walk on; God’s Word created the Universe, galaxies, nebulas, constellations, solar systems, planets! Visible and invisible things, angels and demons, light and darkness, and everything in-between! And it still upholds everything today.

Jesus said that a good shepherd who has 100 sheep and lost just one of them will leave the 99 behind and go look for the one. He is that Good Shepherd. The lost sheep couldn't have been so well behaved or perfect in any way. It might have been a very unruly sheep, prone to making mistakes, prone to failures, else it wouldn't have been lost! And in spite of all its short comings, Jesus would leave the perfect 99 to go look for the imperfect 1. Jesus praying to the Father in John 17, asked God to assure us that He loves us with the same intensity with which He loves Jesus. Can you imagine God loving you the same way He loves Jesus Christ? It’s really amazing, and I cannot even comprehend it to be honest. All my life my heart yearned and cried to know the love of a father, and all the while there was a far greater, deeper, unfathomable and overwhelming love available to me if I would only open up and receive it, coming from a Father that is the maker and master of the everything and everyone.

If you have ever been plagued by doubts concerning God’s love for you, just know that’s the devil around you whispering his poison to you. Prophet Maseke Daniels has told us again and again that every thought indicates the presence of a spirit, good or evil. If the doubts are concerning man’s love for you, know that you cannot make anyone love you, and the one whose love you want has great need to be loved as well. Look to the One Who loves you unconditionally, Who does not look to your excellence to love you, and Who cannot be manipulated out of loving you. Look to God your Father, the One whose heart yearns genuinely for you, Who has more love for you than you can possibly handle.

So, to answer my own questions, YES, if I was the only one God would definitely have loved me enough to come for me. YES, He would have died for me. NO, He would never have thought I was a dispensable nothing, and NO, he would never consider me to be a minor casualty in the broader scheme of things. And for this, I will love Him with all I have and all I am. My life I lay at His feet. What He says, I will do. Where he goes I follow. If I have to be a fool, I will gladly be that fool for Him, AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN...
